Donnie Yen's poetry's of Ip Man was great. But this movie was just out of nowhere like no one asked for. So they decided to put this on Prime Video like we would want to watch this.
Let's get this straight, apparently this "prequel" to Ip Man has us follow a young Ip Man played by some dude, and he apparently discovers a human trafficking ring in Hong Kong lead by stereotypical British villains with god awful dialogue. And of course, he manages to take down the bad guys... yada yada.
The story is just pointless, the action is not exactly the best that it'll make you watch it over and over, and the villains are cringy to watch. And let's not forget watching this on Prime Video gives you this appalling English dub that made this viewing experience even worse than imaginable.
Trust me, it wasn't my intention to watch an Ip Man movie that isn't Donnie Yen (or Tony Leung). And neither should you...
