I saw the first season (3 episodes). This is one of the best series I have ever seen. If you are uncomfortable with non-linear stuff, it might be confusing for you. The story, the acting and the plot is captivating form the beginning to the end. I would like to read the novel and watch the series again.
Tom Thorne reminds me of Liam Neeson in the Taken series. He is a serious guy. I like British TV series. In a way, Thorne and this series also reminds me of River, another fantastic British TV series that did not go beyond a season, though this has one more season.
