Spoiler alert!
The two main leads were excellent, especially Lucy Boynton (I last saw her as Margaret Dashwood in the BBC Sense and Sensibility adaptation, she played a similar plucky heroine character here!)
It was beautifully shot and exciting, however at times a little garbled and confusing, with periods shot in such low lighting it was impossible to work out what was going on.
My main bugbear was with a major problem at the end, how could Mr Angel have been contracted to kill the doctor when Angel had already been dead several days?! That in itself would be a feat of ingenuity fit for Agatha Christie!
