How Not to Do a Manhunt

Warning: Spoilers
This 3 part documentary series is an intense watch.

A couple of horrible people decided to bomb an event in which as a result of their despicable criminality, deaths arose and many hurt, a lot with life changing injuries quite apart from the awful mental effect on all concerned.

This is an awful tragedy caused by evil. No matter how one looks at it there is no excuse or justification whatsoever for the terrible act committed on innocent people.

Near the start of the series one person highlighted how bad some of our fellow humans can be.

Same applies to those who get guns and cause mass murder of harmless people.

Amongst those interviewed were police, FBI and political and other leaders.

Congrats for the way they were able to identify from photos at the scene those responsible.

However, what is so sad and shocking is how grossly incompetent and useless the authorities were in apprehending the culprits.

The victims deserved better.

Yet at the time the Boston public seemed to be misguided in their applause for what was a black comedy of keystone cops errors all around and by other authority figures too.

Questions remain in my view as to why the bombers were able to do this wretched act in the first place.

The only real hero so far as the getting the killers was a young brave Chinese student who was kidnapped by the lunatics yet greatly assisted their capture.

This is an excruciating view, but worthy of a high rating:

8/10.
