Skumtimmen (or Echoes from the Dead for the English title) is a Swedish slow burning mystery/drama. A bit too slow in my opinion. A faster pace and a bit more light action scenes could have benefit this movie. Now it was a lot of talking, maybe just a bit too much. There aren't that much characters so the story was slightly predictable, or at least in my experience. Overall the acting was good, except for Tord Peterson that I found lesser convincing. Maybe it's his more advanced age. But the movie is certainly worth a watch, only there are much better Swedish movies so don't expect a masterpiece.
