The Suckling (1990)

(7/10): A silly little B-Grade Creature Feature that is all in all, pretty fun.

In this film we follow a young couple who are in a bit of a pickle as she is pregnant and he is panicking, she follows him to a in the wall unlicensed clinic unknowingly to get an abortion, then once the child is removed and flushed down the toilet it runs into some hazardous chemicals in the sewer and becomes mutated and then rises from the toilet to take it's revenge and find its mother as it begins to grow in size.

The characters can be annoying at times and I wish I saw a bit more of the creature but overall it's a really good time.

The creature, when fully grown looks pretty fantastic for a low budget and it reminded me of the Creature Design of the creature in Roger Corman's The Terror Within; Long mouth with long sharp teeth, a humanoid body and big clawed hands.

There is one thing that did kind of bother me when I was watching it, I kept hearing this very loud noise that sounded like a creaking door opening and I swear it was from the movie, I don't know what the purpose of it was but it was more annoying than anything.

I don't really have much else to say other than the effects are great, the creature looks both terrifying and goofy and also that ending I did not see coming but it was hilarious.
