Portrayed France and the social structure and living conditions so well. Brilliantly played out by Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Irons and all other major characters (the four musketeers and Christine). I loved this movie. It'a period piece, which meant lavish sets and costumes, rich colors and textures, and the characters, too, were rich and colorful. The cast was a dream, the story beautifully done. It had a little something for everybody. This is just an awesome movie. It's got no frills except those of telling a kick ass story. The acting is great, the plot is simple and very well told and I love the source material.
