This was certainly an odd duck of a series. It tells the tale of a magical creature, who is condemned to live in a painting, until she is liberated by an aspiring action star. The special effects are atrocious. The series is about four episodes too long. And there is this very bizarre character who is constantly munching on a match stick. The acting, as well, is lacking in the principles of goodness. Despite all of these flaws, this Series has heart. The main actress is the cutest actress in all of k-drama, and the villain is not hard to look at also, if he is your kind of thing. The bits where the main character is acting like a fox are hilarious, and the sacrifice of the male lead for the woman he loves is heartbreaking. I think if you are just getting into watching Korean dramas, this may not be for you, but if you have watched the normal, this serious, you can watch this goofy thing.
