The Simpsons: Miracle on Evergreen Terrace (1997)
Season 9, Episode 10
8/10
We are family (through thick and thin)

Warning: Spoilers
Some Simpsons fans may beg to differ, but for me the Golden Era of The Simpsons is the first 10 years, and Miracle on Evergreen Terrace falls within that era for sure. It's a twist on all the Christmas stories and it ain't a Miracle on 34th Street that's for sure.

The quips come thick and fast, and the line from Alex Trebek's security guard, "She ain't getting the home version" was hilarious and reminded me why Miracle on Evergreen Terrace is part of the Golden Era of The Simpsons.

At the end of the day, it's family that what counts through thick and thin, and ultimately that's what The Simpsons is about no matter what era.
