Full Moon High (1981) is a movie that I recently watched on Amazon Prime. The storyline follows a young man who while on a trip to Romania is bitten and turned into a werewolf. As he returns home and tries to return to his normal life he finds it more challenging than he anticipated.

This movie is written and directed by Larry Cohen (The Stuff) and stars Alan Arkin (Argo), Adam Arkin (Get Shorty), Ed McMahon (Fun with Dick and Jane), Demond Wilson (Sanford and Son), Pat Morita (The Karate Kid) and Laurene Landon (Maniac Cop).

This movie was released in the height of horror parodies along side American Werewolf in London and just before Teen Wolf. This is known as Adam Arkin's first film (son of Alan Arkin). This is also a cool movie for Bob Saget who plays multiple "extras if you keep a keen eye out. The comedy content is fairly cheesy with a few sequences that will give you a chuckle. The Jaguar sound effects in this were both funny and awkward. The bus driver sequence and grave site scene were hilarious but football scenes were too over the top. The dialogue was hit or miss and reminded me of Airplane. I will say the makeup and special effects are excellent and very well done.

Overall, this is a campy, horror parody that's far from a classic but has an all star cast and is definitely worth a viewing. I would score this a 6/10 and strongly recommend it.
