Beautiful imagery and not much else. The story had the potential to be good, but fell flat at the end. The ending was trying to be more clever than it actually was. Aging, time lost, love lost, death and immortality are all big themes of this film but the themes overshadowed the actual story, which was poorly written at best. I found the young actors performances so cliche it was almost comical. Where did they get these two? The film missed the mark of mystery or thriller and made me wonder whats the point here? The acting itself was over done and not even Winona Ryder could keep this shipwreck afloat.
