The Blacklist: The Mombasa Cartel (No. 114) (2014)
Season 2, Episode 6
9/10

The 9 instead of a 10 is because of what another reviewer said. The sheer stupidity of the agents at times. The FBI has to screen people so thoroughly and have so much invested that they can't have the kinds of loose cannons running around. But, once again, if concussion protocol were a part of their world, their brains would be pure mush by now. Not to mention the addiction and the inability to confront it. The whole business of cartels and their implications was interesting. Those people in the woods are something else. I did enjoy Red's story about Dembe and the humanity of the cold, killer in this instance. I had also forgotten about Peter Fonds, whom I never recognized through the episode. I must have missed the early credits. After the last episode (a bust, in my opinion), this was better written and very enjoyable.
