Once the Action Movie part started: failure. They did not have the budget or expertise (or ignored the advisors) to make that work. Not just bad tactics an glaring inaccuracies in equipment, but the scale was off. Afghanistan is full of soldiers, Marines, and aircraft. Outside the base they never see anyone. It sorta ruined the believability.
Nice stuff: Acting WAY better than expected. Script mostly okay. Story, action as stated: stupid, but mostly believable people, believable words. It is nice that it was a supply unit, and all NCOs, lots of boring bits around rank and waiting for EOD and so on. Worked well.
When the SEALs showed up and there is handwaving loss of comms and stuff: meh, now we see why it's direct to video, videogame plausbility level of stuff. Too bad.
