Secondly, what parents send their child to a place without checking it out. Yes. I know these under regulated treatment programs put on their best behavior when parent come sniffing around. But at least check it out before sending your children. Lastly, Kayla tried to tell her parents why she wasn't doing well in school and they weren't listening. Kayla's ordeal could have been avoided if her parents had only listened to what she was telling them about herself and about her feelings. I thought the acting was above standard. I thought Kelcey Mawema (Kayla) might have overacted just a tab. But the storyline was so intense and informative. Places like this do exist parents. They care only about milking your insurance. Insurance scammers. Be aware.
