The most appealing thing about this film is its backdrop of 1984 Sikh pogrom in Delhi. Very few films are made in India on the real tragedies. And the next best thing are the actors who gave a superb performance especially Kumud Mishra who is menacing.
But they are laid down by screenplay which leaves logic as per convenience. Some examples: 1. If going to Mohali was so difficult, what about the return journey? Especially when the enemy is already aware of the vehicle number and the two heroes.
2. The love track came at a very inappropriate time. It kills the momentum.
3. How come nobody raided the gurudwara where the Sikhs were hiding? It looked as if the villains were totally unaware of it.
There are few more such instances that kills the joy of this film. It had the potential of becoming Schindler's but ended up becoming a frivolous film (do not want to name it).
