8/10
A good classic Simpsons episode, didn't need the joke ending or Homer's side story though.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode dealt with Bart being upset over Milhouse moving away to Capital City and changing who he used to be, and finding a new best friend in Lisa until Milhouse came back. At first when going to a field trip, Milhouse was acting weirder than he usually is, but the reason for that was because his mom was moving away to Capital City and taking him with her. Bart tries replacing him with Ralph, which doesn't work out, and when he finally sees Milhouse again, he finds out that he hangs out with a very bad crowd. Milhouse even humiliated Bart in front of his new friends calling him a "Springfield baby". Bart watches an old tape on when him and Milhouse were together, and was sad about it. Marge then recommends that he helps Lisa wash the car, which ends up with them playing together and becoming close with one another. They play together in school and even found a secret cave. However, this didn't last long, because Milhouse came back, his father now has rights to him but loses his pants. Lisa then is crushed when Bart told Milhouse about the cave that was supposed to be a secret, however Bart makes it up to her with his own homemade Capital City Monopoly cards, with the last one being "Good for one Hug", which had Bart hugging Lisa, which is where the episode SHOULD have ended, not with some lady telling some joke with some Family Guy-esque cutaway. Also Homer's side story that had him being a hobo panhandling to get special gifts for Marge wasn't needed either. Other than those things, this was a very good classic Simpsons episode.
