Triple Dog (2010)

I didn't triple dog dare anyone to watch this movie

I'm not much a fan of these movies with major of cast of teenagers or teenage girls, yet after watching Tormented (2009) and John Carpenter movie The Ward, also if it has lot of profanity and other typical teenager stuff. The girls plan on doing a game of dares no matter how challenging or illicit (like shoplifting, streaking, faking a seizure in public place, have sex with a guy), otherwise one's head gets shaved completely (bad for a girl), at one's birthday party

All the while, there's that whole mystery element surrounding the death of girl named like Stacy St. Clair who drowned in a river whether it was an accident, suicide or if she was pushed over a bridge in a fight, with several speculations in flashbacks. Eventually, it turns out she did jump...as she dared to, and Chapin guiltily feels responsible that she nearly does the same.

As for cast, I've seen Britt Robertson in Wes Craven's Scream 4 as Marnie Cooper while she plays some punk tomboy named Chapin - decent performance memorable scene when she steals from shop after creating an explosive diversion by microwaving can of beans. There's Alexia Fast as pretty birthday girl Eve who's a new friend to Chapin, Scout Taylor Compton - who I've seen in April Fool's Day remake, Laurie Strode in Zombie's unlikeable Halloween movies, and 247°F (friends trapped in sauna) as outcast girl Liza who carries pet rat for a friend, weird and gross. And, Emily Tennant is female cast member I focused on the most, as shy girl Sarah who was dared to streak on the street.

And the ending credits "Waking" by Hayley Taylor is good finish. Overall, quite a likeable movie.
