This was an okay episode, the reason that it scores a bit lower for me is that it is an accidental killing. For the majority of the episode, they were talking about how this could be a copy cat of Jack the Ripper and I was really intrigued. Then, of course, at the last minute, it was an accidental killing, ugh. What also bothered me was that this all happened because the business partner slapped the victim, which caused her to fall into the apple blender thing. This reminds me a lot of the plot of one of the episodes in season 2, where the victim gets slapped and stumbles into the plane propellers. I just feel like if we are gonna do an accidental killing, at least don't reuse a plot idea from a previous episode.

It is a little odd to me as well that they took so long to turn to Angela to look at these cut marks. I feel like usually when we have so many cuts that are done with exact precision we usually turn to a machine being the weapon sooner. I just wish there was more of a reason that they didn't look at the machine first.

Also, Sweets moves in with Bones and Booth. I really liked that they didn't make Bones and Sweets at each other's throat the entire time. It shows that while they may not agree with each other in the professional setting, they are able to get along just fine outside work.

Overall, I am really torn about this episode. On the one hand, it is interesting because for the majority of the episode we think that there is a serial killer, which is exciting. On the other hand, it turned out to be an accidental killing that occurred from a slap, which has already been done in this series. Despite all this, I really struggle to give any Bones episode lower than a 7 rating because I think all of them are great on some level, so 7/10.

Best part: Fischer barging into Bones and Booths house when this definitely could have been a phone call

Worst part: Hodgins and Angela recognizing the 3D rendering of the victim as the sketch that shows up on their child's applesauce container - it's funny but ridiculous.
