If you like the plot of COD Zombies then you'll enjoy the beginning of this. The kindness of Toulon is honestly heartwarming and he has easily become my favourite character. With the puppets being raised with such kindness and love, seeing them turn against others as the story continues makes it hard to not feel sympathetic towards them; for me at least. What started as a group of murderous puppets started to look like a misunderstood evil. The story of this movie definitely makes up for everything Puppet Master 2 lacked. It also provided good character building with Toulon as we get to see how his kind nature fade into hate. In an odd way I believe it makes him feel more relatable. I personally like stories where good men turn bad due to some injustice so I was into this start to finish. This movie had an enjoyable story and an atmosphere that matched every moment. This makes me look forward to Puppet Master 4.
