Boba Fett is an old man that losses every battle and needs everyone to help him get things done. Series was OK but it fell short of the excitement the Mandalorian series had..that is until the Mandalorian showed up!
Just as I was getting bored of the show the Mandalorian shows up and takes over. It's like the series read my mind. Soon as the Mandalorian appeared things got awesome again!
Not sure what's going on at Disney but the reason why people like the Mandalorian more is because the Mandalorian is everything Boba Fett should had been.
