All the vocal performances are spot-on (English dub), the artwork is great, the plot is intriguing, and the mythology of the Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels is pretty deep. The music's catchy too (especially the end titles). It occasionally feels a little drawn out, but I guess it was necessary in order to put each episode's cliffhanger at exactly 23 minutes. Also, the lead character Issei's school friends are embarrassingly bad; fortunately they appear less as it goes on. And yes, there are boobs. Lots of boobs. And panty shots. But they played no part at all in this review! Overall, 7.5/10. Looking forward to Season two.
