Somehow, Tab Hunter scraped together $2.5 million to shoot this satire of spaghetti westerns, which never cast Tab Hunter. But he needn't have bothered: spaghetti westerns were pretty good. With the exception of cute, young Gina Gallego, there's nothing to see here, but paydays were provided for some veteran actors, whose best days were behind them. Wisely, John Waters turned down this script.
