Gloria deals with the aftermath of a crime, Vargas makes a move, and Ray and Nikki move on to Plan B.
What I Liked:
The cinematography is solid, and each scene perfectly implements its well-crafted and memorable music score. On top of that, each actor gives a strong performance.
V. M. Varga is an intriguing character, stealing every scene he's in, and I will be fascinated to see what unfolds with him this season.
What I Disliked:
Nikki and Ray's storyline is noticeably less enjoyable than anything else this season. While no fault of the actors, the material they have to work with isn't very interesting.
Overall:
Fargo delivers a high-quality second episode, an improvement from the premiere. One can only surmise this season will continue to improve moving forward.
8/10
