The execution for a Short missed too many times.
1) No Miranda Rights nor is an alternative suggested despite the protagonist *seemingly* knowing he has the ability to make a phone call, hire a lawyer, accept a public defender.
2) No crime is ever charged nor is an alternative presented. Yet, very specific sentencing guidelines are presented BEFORE a hearing or court date. No Discovery etc. This destroyed suspension of disbelief.
The writer took a fair concept "automated private prison is Hell" and completely broke the communication with some of the most mind numbingly asinine omissions.
I am all for letting the audience fill in blanks but I want my 15 mins back and this film erased from memory.
