Dave totally surprised me. I was excited for the show and expected it to be funny and entertaining when it was announced. The further I got into the first season the more I realized it was actually a work of art though. This show is deep and meta on a level that almost everything else on tv cannot live up to. I can't really explain how it makes me feel. It is prescient and timely and to me it is perfect. From its extremely accurate portrayal of mental health, to its portrayal of modern romantic and platonic relationships, I think this show does an amazing job of relating to people. Thank you Dave Burd and company for your honesty and your love and respect for your audience.
