Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple (2018)

Everything else was fine, but story and purpose is ultra-confusing

The makers need to understand that "Mystery" and "Confusion" are not synonyms.

The main reason i love Bunguo Stray Dogs is because of Character Designs and unique superpowers, it also seems so cool in general.

One of my most loved shows.

But what the heck was this movie.

I sadly didnt know it was to be watched before season 3, season 3 which i have finished.

But im not rating it 7 for that i know about the story ahead, but only because it was so damn confusing.

What the hell is happening? Why the hell is this happening? What good would it add to the story and characters?

This movie wasn't needed sorry.

Main Reasons (SPOILERS!!)

• Atsushi was the whole embodiment of "people should be allowed to live" as someone with such a horrific past - someone, who believed he needed to save others and prove himself in order to live. AND for no reason than "just-because" now he killed a person in past and doesnt remember-- WHy?

• That said person somehow re-incarnated (wtf? No explanation) - and is the antagonist with a link of past to protagonist (cliche much?)
• The characters screentime was stupidly proportioned? Atsushi is fine, Akuta i understand, but so much weight on Kyoka out of nowhere, and such little time for Dazai? What was even the aim of this movie??

• The pacing was fickle. It wasnt slow or fast just sometimes fine and sometimes too much action happening at once.

• Showing past before future is nice, flashbacks are nice, metaphors are nice, what's not nice? A confusing soup of all three.
