It is obvious that this series was made because they should have killed off Dexter in the last one. To be blunt this wasn't great and the ending was unbelievably stupid.
We were made to believe that Harrison was so excited to find that Dexter was a killer and even joined in the killing of Kurt. 'I am just like you' he cried only in the next episode to say he was nothing like him. So Dexter didn't want to screw up his sons life and asked him to kill him. WHAT?? As if that wouldn't haunt him for the rest of his life!! Dexter had built up sympathy for his character over the years as he always killed bad people. So what does he do? Kill nice cop Logan so any sympathy we had went away in a second. Dexter would NEVER have done this, never.
It wasn't all bad. Clancy Brown was very good as bad guy Kurt and I liked Julia Jones as Angela. But really 'Dexter:New Blood' was a mess which is a pity.
