Seems weird revisiting this during a pandemic! But I'm really loving bingeing it.
OK I'm old. I remember when this came out and I was still at school, and it was the big discussion next day. I was glued to every episode - as was everybody.
So how does it stand today? Some 47 years after it's debut? Other series seems dated, or totally wrong - such as Fawlty Towers. That has aged really badly!
Having read a few reviews, you guys need to remember it was made in 1975 and a product of it's time. Woke's wouldn't be invented for decades. TBH, it stands up very well. Technology and production techniques have improved exponentially, but it's still a good story, well told.
This isn't the first time I've revisited it - I guess about a decade ago?? Probably around the time of the remake.
I think it's fared well over the years, and will probably re-watch it in another decade or so and STILL love it.
