I've seen two Ronald Reagan films. One was a WWII film and this one. I rather like this one more. Okay transfer on dvd but better than the ones off tapes. Can't list it on Bl* ra* dot you know what. But I still can review it..
While the plot is more or less the same as westerns. It's the backdrop that's more interesting. Setting a Western on an Island. Very interesting allows for different music and a bit more water. Like James Bond sets .. right down to the old school butt slap (like Goldfinger) ouch can't do that anymore. I don't pay attention to politics if a guy wants to act. If Christopher Lloyd want's to faint over hearing Ronald Reagan becomes president who am I to argue. Had a classmate suggest Elvis movies.?? Well if she sent a suggestion fine but really not interested in his music. Like only one song. But Ron was always the nice guy. Similar to Randolph Scott. John Wayne? Eh He acted some on his movies but everyone parodies his voice.. I liked this movie. It was unique.. Unique gets more points.. And a cheap gate ain't cutting it :)
