I am not a comic reader so have no idea how this compares.
I like the idea of the story as it is different but it is so painfully slow in action and story that I am on episode 5 and have little idea of how and why all the males died and to be honest not much has happened since they did which am not sure if that's a reflection on the writers conception of what a women only universe can achieve or they are just bad at writing progressive stories?
The only Male lead is an over privileged selfish childish idiot which makes it hard to watch and his sister is not much better In honesty the story so far has zero going for it and it will take a mammoth change in writing to rescue it.
