Heal Yourself, Heal the Space Through Joy and Gratitude!

Warning: Spoilers
I don't think I could ever get tired of watching Marie Kondo work and share her views and philosophies. I've been to Japan. And, frankly, I haven't found sweeter people anywhere else. Watching Marie reminds me of my time in Japan. It's like going to a country with a lot of "Maries!"

Two key elements in Marie Kondo's process, that were shared in the previous series, carries over into this one: joy and gratitude. It's been stated that gratitude is the fastest form of healing. Marie's process is not only practical, it's also spiritual because it's a way of life that carries over into all other areas.

Most people are about holding onto things. It can be a scary process to learn how to let go. But once you develop the habit, and more so, do it with gratitude, it becomes easier. Especially once you realize that you aren't "losing" anything. But in fact, you are gaining as you thank the item for its service to you.

In this series, only three episodes (wish there had been more!), Marie helps her clients learn how to balance home life and work life. And through this process, she helps these folks bring healing to themselves as well as to the space in which they live and work.

All three episodes are touching and heartfelt in their own way. Sometimes, we have no idea how to deal with things until someone shows us how. We don't necessarily have to adopt the method, but if it works? Why not?

Since I've adopted Marie's method, taking care of my clothes and other items is no longer a job. It's actually fun. I enjoy folding my clothes and sorting items. This series also reminds me that I have to do a better job of showing gratitude to those items that I've chosen to discard.

Marie Kondo is a true treasure and blessing. I don't think I could ever get tired of watching and listening to her with her smile and vibrant personality. She's a true example of how to be. She brings much needed joy, gratitude, and healing to everyone she meets. And, for me, that is why she is a treasure and a blessing.

I sincerely hope she will do another series.
