I want my time back
7 September 2021
I don't know why I thought this would be a decent movie. The main subjects are a couple who have made their brand as professional victims who trash their families--on all sides-- as brutally and publically as they can. Still, I thought, maybe this would clear up all the lies they told on Oprah and redeem them in my eyes. Nope. Just furthered their agenda of professional victimhood. I;m done with this couple. I cheered while I watched their wedding, I hoped they would do well when they moved to Canada and was genuinely happy they were finding their own way. The film does a poor job of portraying how that went down and only shows one very biased side of the story. The actors they chose for the other royals looked, spoke and acted nothing like how I've seen them act and speak. Ther personalities were also very different from just about every other person on the planet who has actually met them.

I had hoped they would learn and grow from their challenges yet clearly they would rather remain bitter and vengeful and the US media is all too happy to help them do it as long as it creates drama. Hence my feeling a need to review, the media needs to stop talking about them and further playing up their sainthood/the whole entire world is against us!/it's not us, we are amazing, it's everybody else we ever encounter who is the problem status or they will never grow up.
