A 36-foot crocodile goes on the rampage in Beijing after it's moved from a crocodile by an evil fat guy who plans on cooking and eating it. Moreover, said crocodile has also devoured a handbag with a million bucks inside of it.
Writer/director Lisheng Lin keeps the enjoyably inane story zipping along at a brisk pace, maintains an engaging tongue-in-cheek tone throughout, stages the croc attacks with aplomb, and presents a colorful array of wacky characters. Moreover, the CGI croc looks pretty cool while the amusing sense of goofy humor delivers a steady succession of big laughs. A fun flick.
