Everyone reviewing this is very concerned with Detective Tritter's shenanigans, but no one has said anything about the POTW. I find this is the most painful sad episode to watch. The seemingly inevitable, horrific fate of that beautiful little girl reduced me to tears when I first saw it. Just re-watched and the same feelings came back. Rather melodramatic denouement, per dramatic tv shows. Heart wrenching. Not helped by House's suffering and lashing out.
