As one might expect from a straight to video sequel of the less than subpar horror franchise, Leprechaun 3 is a dreadfully unfunny and annoying horror comedy with its biggest scares being its horrible acting. Putting aside the fact that they have changed the Leprechauns rules for literally every single film up to this point, the screenplay is an absolute mess, stretching on for as long as possible to make a 90 minute runtime, and feeling far longer by the time it's actually finished. It's nothing you haven't seen before from these type of films, and it's so juvenile it often feels like it was written by a horror obsessed 4th grader. The special effects are garbage, the characters are incredibly thin, and it has so many stereotypes and cliches you'll wonder if there is even a bit of originality to find within this films clutches. If you really turn your brain off and just sit back and watch it, you may find a few moments entertaining here and there, but for the most part, Leprechaun 3 is an absolute dud and the worst film in the franchise i've watched so far, although i'm sure there is worse to come.
