Firstly, If you go into this movie expecting a serious vampire, horror film, you will be disappointed. But if you go into this movie expecting a comedy, action and some pretty decent music, you will be pleasantly surprised. I found myself laughing a lot during this film from the absurd amount of swearing to the lead vampire spontaneously combusting at the first glimmer of sunlight. The plot didn't make much sense....a military love story intertwined with a vampire rave, and a weirdly patriotic ending of ramming a Union Jack flag through the heart of a vampire (which took me by surprise but was pretty funny). I found myself more interested in the background characters such as the old, stoner vampire uncle who let rave goers take a hit from his ancient bong and the bad-ass kimono wearing vampire who sang so beautifully and ominously but was killed off too soon. Tragic.
Overall I found this film very entertaining when watching it all together, and I would recommend it to a friend if they are looking for some over the top bloody, vampire fun!
