A group of activist hackers and several computer geeks find themselves trapped inside an office building by the new super computer that's in charge of the building's security. Both groups must work together to prevent the dangerous artificial intelligence from getting out into the world.
Writer/director James B. Cox relates the enjoyable and engrossing story at a brisk pace, takes time to develop the characters, generates a good deal of tension, and even delivers a few moments of surprisingly nasty gore. The solid acting from the capable cast keeps this movie humming: Adam Shapiro as the nerdy Jayhawk, Blake Robbins as nice guy manager Charlie, Molly Burnette as the ruthless Lex, Brian Patrick Wayne as the brutish Burton, Josh Banday as loveable bumbling doofus Rafi, Andy Allo as the scrappy Sparrow, and Courtney Hope Turner as sexy intern Roxie. Lyn Moncrief's sharp widescreen cinematography provides an impressive polished look. Clayton Worbeck's pulsating score hits the funky-throbbing spot. A cool little flick.
