I was really looking forward for this movie given its categorized as my favorite genres (sci-fi mystery). I thought: ok, not a drama fan BUT I still hope its gonna be a good sci-fi mystery. I guess that's the "gamble" you have to make when you watch indie movies.
Yeah, utterly disappointed. I saw "slow burner" descriptions for it too. Yeah, its slow alright, its gonna burn your time too!
What caused him being alone in the town? Catastrophic event? Was it a dream? Was it some kind of alternate universe? Is he schizoid? Did his girlfriend die during the event? And how? Who killed her? Literally none of these question are answered!
Just a poor drama, not sci-fi, not a mystery.
