Pretty brutal ultra low budget revenge actioner

I can't really think of another movie quite like Deadbeat At Dawn, think of The Warriors high on Angel dust listening to Venom on a violent rampage and you might get an idea. This cheapie exploitation action flick is very raw, viceral and quite nihilistic and street tough. The hero and title character is a guy named Goose, a leader of a street gang and all around violent hooligan. His girlfriend encourages him to leave the gang and she is brutally murdered. Like the case with most street gangs, it isn't that easy to get out and leads to double crossings and betrayals that have the violence escalate to the films conclusion. Deadbeat At Dawn may be low budget but is super tough and has bad ass heavy metal guys brawling, doing drugs and committing crimes. The action is ultra violent and very bloody and gory. This is one nasty piece of sleaze and Deadbeat At Dawn is hard as nails. In my opinion this film is a good time and one cool micro budget splatter action flick.
