"L'homme qui aimait les femmes" is a film about a pathological womanizer. Because the origins of his disease (Oedipus-complex?) are unclear and his appeal to women is even more puzzling, there is no identification with one of the characters of this movie.
The fact that the man is mostlly attracted by the legs, results in the conquest of many different types of women. This may give some variety, but it does not rescue the film.
