Wallace wolodarsky's sorority boys is an incredibly dense masterpiece. Indeed, harland william's performance translates to good entertainment value; yet, more than anything this movie is a biting critique on the degrading patriarchal society that constrains and drains each and every one of us. The film may act as a catalyst for viewers to look inward, as introspection, especially with regards to one's treatment of women, is an incredibly prevalent theme. While both shocking and tranquil, the camera work in this movie had me begging for more. The lighting is the only thing i would change about this movie, but it certainly gives an avont gaurd vibe and could possibly be a meta-critique on the lighting styles of many contemporary slapstick comedies; however, i did stream this off of myspace and it was a very low resolution, so it could have just been my stream. this is a film i will soon revisit as its inspiration and social guidance are a rare bird in cinema today.
