There was really nothing about this film that I found engaging. The film was extremely dark, and I usually like dark and moody movies, but this was just a poverty-stricken, rat infested, horrifically ugly version of China. It didn't feel like there was much of a story, I didn't find the characters particularly engaging and the lead female role had one expression the entire movie. It just didn't feel like the story went anywhere, there were way too many young gang bangers, and there wasn't really a coherent narrative.
