This episode demonstrated just how tedious, disappointing and unreliable bureaucracy is. From the detail trying to set up a wire to Dennis trying to set up a boxing gym, nothing was happening. Tiresome as it is, it also meant that this episode was once again fairly slow. We did get Prez shooting a cop which was definitely a 'oh wow' moment when McNulty found his badge. He was pretty trigger happy so this isn't really that big a shock I suppose. That is probably the end of him though. Stringer also proved this episode that he is a really slippery, slimey guy. He killed Dee behind his family's back, and now authorises a hit on a Sunday morning. He definitely has it coming. By the way, Theresa getting creeped out by McNulty talking about police work but not when he uses his police powers to track her down isn't adding up at all
