Unpopular opinion: ER handled Pratt's death better than Greene's
17 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I've binge watched ER in 2020, so I'm a bit of a Monday Morning quarterback here, but I felt of all the characters who died on the show, Pratt received the most dignified send-off. The slow stroll to the elevator, the nod to the show's "15 crew" (Haleh, Malik and Chuny), Chaz's pain for the brother he was just getting to know, the quiet pain on Frank's face as he touches Pratt's shoulder. The heartwarming and simultaneously crushing send off at Ike's - it was a tremendous episode.

I know Mark Greene's death story arc shares a special place with fans and Lucy Knight's death was shocking, but if we put aside the post-prime bias, this episode was one of the show's very best hours. Period.
