An epic film portraying the tough times that lasted between India and Pakistan after the partition in 1947 focusing on a romantic relationship spurring between a sikh worker and a muslim royal. The portrayal of the romantic relationship in this picture is very artistic and subtle. With a few over the top acting scenes by Sunny paaji and firm acting by legendary actor Amrish Puri. A classic masterpiece which can be watched multiple times to relive the historic episodes that took place really in the Indo- Pak border. A solid 10 out of 10 film.
