Doug's maverick storyline comes to a conclusion. The beginning of the loooooooong spiral downward for this once great series becomes evident with the appearance and continuation of Mobilaje and Koobi's story. This starts a snowball of socially conscious stories we're supposed to care about. ER becomes more about the drama of these spoon fed yawnfests and less about the most important draw it had going for it: the regular characters.
