My Husband and I (1987–1988)
7/10
It's a nice, sweet show.

My Husband and I is a nice, easy going comedy, it's sweet, and somewhat sentimental, I wouldn't say it's rip roaring laugh out loud comedy, but it is a nice, easy going watch.

It's many years since I got to see the second series, I would argue that the first contains the better episodes, but it's all worth seeing if you can get hold of a copy.

It deserves a DVD release, anything starring Sugden is worth seeing, particularly when it contains her real life husband.

Sugden and Moore are just lovely to watch, and of course they share true chemistry, which is evident from the start. Deddie Davies and John Horsley are good in support, and add laughs throughout.

If you liked comedies from the writing duo, That's my Boy and You're only young twice (my favourite) you will enjoy this. You get the impression that nobody truly knew what to do with Mollie following her iconic role in Are you being served, but this is a nice watch, her character is the exact same as Ida Willis (That's my Boy.)

Easy viewing 7/10.
