A slice of the '60s before they got serious, this is arguably the best of a slew of "Beach" movies that feature romantic songs and lots of cavorting along the seashore in California. You'll love watching these perfect teenagers, led by Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon as they shake their stuff to the title tune. The movie costars a lip-syncing Linda Evans (later of TV's "The Big Valley" and "Dynasty") as Sugar Kane and features comedy by Paul Lynde, Don Rickles, and the legendary Buster Keaton.
