Let's face it. Jason is not right in his head. We literally find out in Season 4 that he's been playing the bad guy AND himself the whole time. How lazy can the writers get? Also...can someone explain why, all of a sudden, Hayley is the miracle cure for a virus no one knows about yet? I get that it's fiction and all and that anything can happen on TV, but c'mon. The writers can't get any lazier, can they? At least make it have to do with the water. The way Hayley magically gets cured because of her own superhuman immune system makes no damn sense. And the way the doctor doesn't even take Leo's blood as a sample to study the virus is just so lame and unprofessional! That's NOT how a virus, or a doctor for that matter, works. Please hire some new, better writers.
The chemistry between the students is pretty good, and they actually brought my two favorite ships back together. (Hayley and Leo + Max and Emma) Hayley and Daniel was like, I dunno, two north sides of a magnet repelling against each other (if that makes sense), and a relationship can only work if there are at least SOME similarities. Hayley and Daniel weren't it. Neither were Max and Jackie.
I rate this a 6/10 because I like the concept of kids banding together to stop an evildoer, but the writers need to shape up. The water Hayley drank could've been the antidote, but since the writers aren't good, they just lazily make Hayley's immune system godly instead of creating a subplot of finding a version of the water. Or maybe they didn't have to drill Hayley in. I dunno. Also, I liked the Russian-looking guy who happened to be Suzanne's boyfriend. Why did they make Jason have a really bad case of MPD? I would've liked to see the next season focus on trying to find this guy along with Suzanne, but I guess that's not gonna happen. I was actually hoping for Jason to be the good guy in disguise, but NO, he has to have a serious case of MPD. Jesus. Also, Jason and Suzanne? Ew. Just ew. Why can't Russian Guy be real? Suzanne looks WAY better with him than she does with Jason.
