Impossible to know, because this film was released in 2004, but President Barack Obama expanded the Patriot Act and took away even more of our freedoms, even though he campaigned differently. Citing it had infringed upon our civil liberties and would not stand for it.
For the record, I am a registered Independent. It irks me that these same talking heads never said a word when Obama made things worse (in respect to the Patriot Act). One example is that if you are suspected of a terrorist act, you can be picked up thrown in jail WITHOUT A TRIAL and held there indefinitely...years even. If you find this impossible to believe, then do your due diligence and find out for yourself.
